Cloudastructure executed a 1 for 6 reverse stock split (shares rounded up) on October 24, 2024. That’s something publicly held companies do to reduce the number of outstanding shares in the market. In a reverse stock split, existing shares are consolidated into fewer shares. This results in a higher stock price for the stock shares, but it has no effect on the total value of the stock to the investor or the market capitalization of the stock. You still have the exact same ownership in the company as you did before the split.
